Social network Twitter has proven to be a good tool for networking and marketing one's business, but maybe not for Cashtime rapper Smashis who was involved in yet another Twitter brawl that is expected to turn physical.
This time the 21 year old rapper was in a Twitter war (twar) with the editor of Markhams Menswear Siyabonga Nyezi, a cyber troublemaker who is not afraid to speak his mind. The beef started when Siya tweet: "u Smashis uthi u Shinji Kagawa wenzeni? Ayi, Cashtime niggas kodwa".
Then Smashis spotted the tweet and replied: "Ask ur mom, I whispered it in her ear"
Oh did Twitter heat up when this came to the public timeline. An agitated Siya who didn't like the mention of his mom by the rapper tweeted: 'Smashis thinks he can talk shit, I'm not small like his last victim. Tell when you in CPT, fam'.
The "last victim" referred to here is Claro, who once had a brawl with Smashis at a Joburg nightclub after their Twitter altercation. But a few minutes later Siya tweeted that he will be in Johannesburg in May for Pop Bottles, so that is where they will meet for their "fight". Tweeted Siya: "Clearly I have to take that leave that's been offered to me in May. Some okes think this is a Cashtime video".
Oh my!!! Pop Bottles in May, Johannesburg... will there be a fight? What do you think Smashis is doing right now? Doing push up? What do you think Siya is doing right now? Watching Cashtime Fam music videos to see which movements Smashis likes to make? Now if this fight really goes down (which I doubt it will, sadly), the loser of the fight will be thrown upon on Twitter. Laughter will be on the one who has been beat down.
Smashis also already won one public battle (NO, not a rap battle - a physical fight). If he wins the next match he will get the title of the Undisputed Champion of Twitter.
